Getting Connected Through The Spiritual Formation Path

Open House: Open House is a special reception for new families and individuals at Household of Faith. It's an opportunity to help get people familiar with what happens here at the House, meet key leaders, tour the facilities, hear the vision of the "House," and find out how you can get connected. The next Open House is scheduled for Sunday, September 21 right after the 10:30 service in the activity center.

Partnership 101: This one-night membership class is where we discuss the structure, strategy, and statement of faith of our church. You'll learn some of our history, have a chance to ask questions, enjoy a meal, and receive an opportunity to "become a part the of the family" here at Household of Faith. The next Partnership 101 is scheduled for Sunday, September 28 @ an off site location. We will notify you where this meeting will be held.

Discipleship 201: This is a 6-week course where the foundations for a successful Christian life are explored. You will get an in-depth view of 6 core areas that define our spiritual journey including: salvation, water baptism, and the baptism in the Holy Spirit. The next course will start on Wednesday, October 1 here at the House.

Discovery Seminar: This is a one-day session designed to help you learn your personality type, key gifting's, and passions in order to connect you to a place of service at Household of Faith. This is a session that uncovers the areas of our life that we are truly passionate about. The next Discovery Seminar will be held on Saturday, September 13 in The Point, in our activity center .

Making of a Leader: John Maxwell said, "Everything rises and falls on leadership. The Making of a Great Leader takes a look at one of the greatest leaders of all time, King David, and teaches biblical principles that can be applied to any life to see that person become a man or woman after God's own heart. In this course you'll discover the 15 traits that every person needs to successfully influence and lead others for the Kingdom of God. This is a 7-week course that will be held at 8:30am on Sunday mornings. The first session for 2008 begins Sunday, September 21 here at the House.

To sign up for any of these meetings, you may either call the church office at (225)644-3111 or fill out a Getting Connected card located in the chair holders in the Main Auditorium and drop it in the offering bucket or at the Info Center.
