HOF YTH is our the student ministry here at The House for students 6th grade through college age! YTH meets every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month. We have Community Nights on 2nd and 3rd Sundays, which are designed to be hang out times for students where they connect with each other while also hearing a gospel-centered message.

Every 4th Sunday is Live Night! These nights, we have a full service with our worship band, a message geared to encourage and challenge students, as well as lots of fun activities and events.

5pm at our Airline campus.

We dedicate one Sunday a month at each campus to our middle schoolers, giving them the space to engage with content that is directly targeted towards what matters to them while in an environment that directly caters to them!

JHIGH meets during our 10:30am Sunday services. First Sunday of the month is hosted at our Airline campus in The Point, and Second Sunday is hosted at Mt. Zion in the Next Steps room.

On top of Sunday night gatherings, YTH students also have the opportunity to serve on Dream Teams, as well as lead and join small groups not just in HOF YTH, but in the church as a whole!!

There are several spaces available for students to grow as leaders in their church AND in their community. Small groups will begin later this year, but there’s ALWAYS room to serve around The House!

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9

Our goal as a youth group is to stand in the gap for the next generation. Be the voice that approaches tension with truth, and who cares for our community with compassion and love. This is a belief of P. Connor’s, of our student leadership team, and one we try to emphasize to the students involved in our ministry.

Based around Joshua 1:9, our goal is to build a student body that is strong in what it believes and courageous in it’s approach. We believe that God does not rest in fear, and that’s the way we approach our ministry.

HOF YTH for the past six years has been lead by P. Connor Bledsoe. LSU grad and father of two, Connor has maintained to lead this ministry in hopes that students grow in their relationship with Jesus, and find Community in the process.

HOF YTH is completely student lead!

Following the vision casted by P. Connor, high school and college aged student leaders meet regularly to worship and fellowship together, discuss the effectiveness of our youth ministry and it’s role in our community, and plan future youth events. We believe that leaving room for students to take control in the areas they are most passionate about is what best motivates them to stand up as leaders in the community.

All of our leaders have gone through Next Steps and actively serve on Dream Teams, and have signed a YTH Leadership Agreement Form that holds them accountable to their actions and to their role in the Church.
